Alucar’s timber superstructure quality is well known, everywhere in the world over twenty five years. It has always been priory for us to develop the products together with customers and suppliers. Company’s guideline has been creating long customer relationships as well as international networking with manufactures and distributors on the branch. Modern manufacturing methods, best materials designed into lightweight and durable products are installed by capable personnel guarantee stable superstructure quality and ensure larger production series.

As 70% of the Alucar’s yearly production is exported -we have wide experience about different markets shortwood transportation. Most times it’s important to know laws, practices and road circumstances before concrete superstructure planning takes place. In truck mounting we follow manufacturers instructions as a guideline and special computer programs to optimise weight balances and measurements. It has been important to adapt international ISO quality and -environment standards. They are used furthermore as tools to evaluate and strengthen our production and quality.

Bodybuilding design starts always from negotiations with customer and listening to his needs. We have variety of specialists at your service from designing, sales, production, and mounting. We look into truck manufacturers bodybuilder homepages to get the specific truck chassis drawings and equipment. Together with customer we will define load space, truck length, rear overhang, trailer coupling place, crane attachment type, headboard type etc. The manufacturer’s bodybuilder instructions will be followed through whole design process to ensure best functionality and strength of truck and superstructure. We also make suggestions on basis of our experiences. After definition of measures is time to check needed accessories. There are different types to choose from timberbunks, load securing equipment, coverplates, sanding gears, load dividing systems, mudwings, worklights etc. Designing the effective hydraulic system has big importance when making functioning timbertruck. You can rely on our expertise of matching of truck Pto, pump, hydraulic lines and crane. All correspondence with exact drawings, changes and confirmations are easy to handle by emails. Our subframe is made of special mixed aluminium profile. Profile advantages are stiffness and integration of different parts by bolting. Subframe main profiles are drilled for fixings and cutted to loading length with computer supervised drilling robot. Truck manufacturers measurement drawings are used in programming to get precise result.

In some truckbrands the chassis is bended in front of the truck. It’s important that the subframe follows the shape of the truckframe. Alucar is using computer supervised hydraulic bending machine to get millimetre accurate bendings of subframe.

The bending- slot machine is making bendings by pressing, so there is no need to warm up material. In this way the material original characteristics are preserved. This process improves quality and extends subframes life time considerably.

After bending the subframe is assembled with help of measure picture. After assembly subframe is ready for installation. Using truck factories measure pictures in our pre manufacturing, all parts match to places exactly. In this way we can minimize our lead time.



Alucar superstructure assembly is done by using profile and bolt joints. With this method we can avoid welding and flame cutting during installation. Also with this solution all joints are flexible, witch makes subframe durable and easier to assemble. In possible damage cases, we can deliver example ready drilled subframe profile. Only thing that we have to know is truck chassis number.


In the mounting hall we have possibility up to 5 trucks simultaneous mounting. We mount our own design products, which are tested and manufactured by our selected suppliers.

We have long experience from the hydraulic mountings for timber truck. We use only quality brands in hydraulic parts and components that we know functioning well. In our warehouse we have large range of hydraulic pumps, connectors, hoses, clamps etc.


In the hydraulic lines we use only surface treated passivated pipes, pearl joints and heavy duty clamps. In this way the lines servicing is minimised. Hydraulic hoses come to us straight from the supplier with ready connectors. This way quality of the lines and hoses connections keeps steady all the time and it also makes hydraulic system more reliable.

Hydraulic system operation is tested in every truck, before delivery to the customer. We measure system pressures and flow.

We also connect all needed electrics ready even to the cabin. So when the truck leaves from us it can go straight to work.


On the modern painting chamber we can paint all our single parts and even whole truck frames. On the frame paintings, truck lifted up and tyres, tanks, plastic covers etc. are removed. We survey the paint quality also by thickness measuring device.

Subframe will be lifted top of the truckfame after the bodywork and painting.
